Old School Farm

Our brunch club has been on a bit of a hiatus but thankfully we have returned for more food, drinks and laughs!

This past weekend we had an incredible experience at Old School Farm Bar. This hidden gem is located off Ashland City Highway about 10 minutes from Downtown Nashville. As stated on their website:

The Farm Bar serves simple, yet elegant New American and Classic European Cuisine, prepared using locally grown and sustainably raised foods. Our chefs have created a menu that is carefully crafted, curated by micro-season, and inspired by our foragers, farmers and growers.

After parking in the old basketball courts, we entered into the building and felt as if we were going back in time. Industrial style tables inside the open school room added to the overall sense of ‘home.’ We were greeted by one of the three amazing workers we met during our visit and seated immediately.

I ordered the French Toast (big surprise haha) with a side of the sweet potato hash browns. Ashley went with the Omelette with a side of roasted Irish potato wedges while Emily chose the Biscuits & Gravy with sausage.

While we waited, we indulged in Bottomless Mimosas special for $14. Worth every penny!

Our dishes were brought out promptly and with a smile. Serving sizes are BIG so be prepared to eat. My French Toast was incredible and the honey butter…we won’t even go there. The chefs take great pride in their dishes and you can taste the difference. Farm fresh and heavenly!

I highly recommend you visit Old School Farm Bar before the rest of Nashville catches on. Super nice servers, delicious food and bottomless mimosas…I mean, do you need any other reason?
